SHOES
Our advice for selecting the perfect width for your shoes
When you have a foot that's not a "standard" foot, it's very difficult to seek out the proper shoe. Chaussmart makes every effort to supply you a varied selection of shoes for wide feet for men and ladies. it's important to wear suitable shoes for the comfort of wide feet, otherwise, your feet are going to be tight and you'll be constantly "sore" in your shoes.
Chaussmart has therefore selected models from major brands like Rieker, Romika, Luxat, Sioux ... to require care of your feet.
In France, specialist stores or podiatrists will easily tell you about the seventh or eighth width, which refers to letters: the seventh width is that the standard width, which corresponds to the width G. The specialists in comfort shoes remain the Germans, who almost systematically use the letters of the alphabet, starting at C (for very very narrow feet, this width is extremely difficult to find) with the letter L. The letters F or G being the quality widths, G offering a fit easier.
The models of shoes with adjustable straps also allow you to regulate the shoe to the width of your foot, in order that they also will be suitable for wide or strong feet.
Not all brands use this graduation, some communicate on the very fact of offering models of a width greater than normal, of comfortable footwear (of course an honest width), wide or extra wide.
To know your width, measure your foot now:
1- Place your foot flat on the bottom, stand upright in order that your weight is distributed evenly over the whole surface of your foot
2- Use a measuring tape to require the measurement, put it within the widest a part of your foot, generally located below the small toe and therefore the bone of the large toe, then go around your foot with the meter (see illustration)
3- note of the measurement and ask the dimensions chart to seek out the perfect width for your next shoes.
